Prediction markets are turning integrity into a growth layer
DraftKings announced on 8 September 2026 that it will deploy IC360’s integrity and anti-harassment technology across its sportsbook and prediction-market platforms. The marketing lesson is straightforward: trust infrastructure is becoming part of the product story.

Prediction market integrity needs a message#
DraftKings says its agreement with IC360 will bring integrity monitoring, ProhiBet, ProhiTrade and ProhiBet Bad Actors across both its sportsbook and prediction offering. The company announcement describes a single architecture for suspicious patterns, prohibited betting, prohibited trading and athlete harassment.
That matters because sportsbook and prediction products may look adjacent in an app while carrying different risks. A bet can raise questions about prohibited participants. An event contract can raise questions about insider information and market conduct. Harassment adds a human safety layer that cannot be reduced to a price or a settlement rule.
The IC360 media record calls the deal a partnership dated 8 September. Its language also shows the commercial direction: integrity tools are being sold as a unified stack for operators and exchanges. That is a product-positioning shift. The operator is not merely saying that it meets a rule. It is saying the rule is part of how the market earns a user’s confidence.

The fox does not call a hedgerow safe because the path looks tidy. It checks what is moving in the grass. A betting platform needs the same habit. The offer may be attractive, but the experience must also explain who can participate, what is monitored and where a user can report harm.
Trust needs a marketing proof#
Prediction market marketing often reaches for novelty. New categories need a stronger first sentence. Tell the user what the market is, what settles it, where it is available and what the operator does to protect the activity. The CFTC’s public rulemaking record shows why regulatory language matters in event contracts. A claim that sounds like a sports wager can carry a different legal and product context.
Betting platform trust is built from small, verifiable details. A customer should not have to guess whether a market is supervised, whether an athlete can trade it, how suspicious activity is reviewed, or what happens when a bad actor targets a player. Those details belong in help pages, onboarding, affiliate kits and the creative brief.
For a Malta-facing operator, the Malta Gaming Authority and its player information provide an important reminder: protection language must be plain, visible and jurisdiction-aware. The UK Gambling Commission offers the same broad lesson for UK-facing work. A global claim is rarely a safe local claim.
Good iGaming integrity copy does not promise that suspicious behaviour will never happen. It explains how signals are identified, who reviews them and what actions may follow. That is stronger than a broad adjective because it gives the audience something they can understand and the operator something it can evidence.
That block is not a compliance appendix. It is a conversion aid for a category where uncertainty is part of the customer objection. The clearer the operator is about the boundary, the more room the marketing team has to sell the experience inside it.

Community language reveals the objection#
A same-week sportsbook community thread shows the category being presented through promotions, sign-up codes and market names. That is useful listening, but it is not proof of an offer or a market’s legal status. The thread tells us what the user sees first: a crowded acquisition surface where trust can be flattened into a bonus.
A same-week sportsbook thread was filled with prediction-market and sign-up promotion language. The lesson for operators is not to copy the noise. It is to give integrity and availability a clearer place in the funnel.
The difference between attention and trust is where an iGaming brand can sound grown-up. A promotion can win the first glance. It cannot answer whether the market is fair, whether a complaint has somewhere to go, or whether the operator will act when a user crosses a line.

The UK advertising code for gambling is another useful discipline even when the target market is elsewhere. It makes the basic principle hard to miss: advertising should not blur the product, the risk or the audience. Clear claims are easier to localise, easier to review and less likely to become a bad screenshot in a regulator’s folder.
Use the community thread as a question bank. Ask what a new user would want to know before depositing, trading or placing a wager. Then answer those questions from the operator’s own product, licence and protection material. Discovery finds the objection. Primary documentation supplies the answer.
Five moves for integrity-led growth#
First, separate the offer from the operating rules. Second, write one plain paragraph for each major risk: prohibited participation, suspicious activity, insider information and harassment. Third, place those paragraphs in the funnel where the question appears. Fourth, train affiliates and creators on the same language. Fifth, monitor whether support questions reveal a gap between the promise and the product.
That is prediction market marketing with a spine. It does not make a regulated offer dull. It makes the offer legible. People can enjoy an event contract and still deserve to know what holds the market together. A serious operator treats that knowledge as part of the experience.
In a new market, integrity is not the footnote after acquisition. It is the reason acquisition can last.
The wider iGaming marketing practice still needs search, paid media, creative testing and affiliate distribution. The change is the proof layer underneath all four. If the claim cannot survive a customer question, it should not be the headline.
DraftKings and IC360 have put a visible stake in that ground. Other operators will decide what they do with it. The useful starting point is to make the trust architecture readable before the next promotion makes it urgent.
The fox can move quickly through a field because it knows which fence is real. A gaming brand can move quickly through a new category for the same reason.

Prediction market integrity is a product promise, a support question and a creative responsibility. Prediction market integrity should appear beside the offer, not beneath it. Prediction market integrity needs a clear page. Prediction market integrity needs a clear FAQ. Prediction market marketing needs the same proof. Betting platform trust grows when the page explains the boundary. Prediction market integrity should guide the affiliate pack. That is also where event contract marketing earns its language. The fox checks the trail, the thicket and the den before it moves.
Build the proof, then build the promise around it. That is how a crowded betting market earns a second look.

Frequently asked questions#
What is prediction market integrity?
Prediction market integrity is the set of controls and operating practices that protect event-contract markets from prohibited trading, manipulation, suspicious behaviour and abuse.
Why does prediction market marketing need trust proof?
Event contracts are unfamiliar to many users and may sit beside sportsbook products. Clear information about availability, restrictions, monitoring and protection reduces uncertainty before a customer acts.
What is betting platform trust?
Betting platform trust is the customer’s confidence that the product is clearly described, rules are applied consistently, risks are visible and the operator acts when harm or suspicious conduct appears.
What belongs in an iGaming integrity page?
An integrity page should explain product scope, jurisdiction, restricted participants, monitoring, reporting routes, responsible gambling information and how the operator handles suspicious activity.
How should operators market event contracts?
Operators should explain the contract, settlement, availability and safeguards in plain language, then keep affiliate, creator, paid and on-site copy aligned with the same evidence.
